Not my series, but looks like a nice mid-grade uncirculated coin to me. Very attractive.

On "hot" vs "not" all I can do is look at ebay, where I see that 18 vintage (pre-1930) 1 libra coins have sold in the last 60 days, and the inventory is not super high compared to that figure (currently 28).

Unslabbed examples are selling faster and have lower inventory/sales ratio (small data set though), but also lower price.

Thanks for all the awesome input!

I should have been a little more clear in regards to "Hot" or "not"? This is meant as purely subjective i.e. "hot" = I like it- it looks good to me, and "not" = the opposite.

My apologies for not being more clear but all the other info is also appreciated and welcomed as well.

Hi Dorado!

I am going to go out on a limb for a moment and make the assumption that you personally like these coins?

Definitely looks MS, but enough marks to knock it to MS-63. I think all gold bullion coins are "hot" now and sure to get hotter.
