Hello guys,
This is my last 10p coin. What do you think about the errors marked with arrows? Thanks for your help.

Greetings

Hi Alexander999 and

I'm no expert on coin errors but it looks like Machine Doubling of some kind to me.

The 1992 10p has a huge mintage, as vast numbers were required to replace the older, larger 10p's. There are several varieties and, with such a large mintage, it would be logical to expect a fair number of error coins for that year.

Although things do seem to be changing a bit, British collectors generally are not as interested in errors and varieties as US collectors. Most British collectors probably have a single 1992 10p coin in their albums, or have two representing the distinctive square and wire rim types.

Maybe someone else on the Forum will get back to you!
