Petespockets55 Pillar of the Community United States 5775 Posts	Posted 04/26/2020 09:16 am It doesn't appear to be an off-center strike, but a severely tilted and misaligned obverse die centered at K-3 ... plus something else. The reverse also appears to be misaligned but at K-10:30. I'm not sure what the designation might be when this (tilted and misaligned differently on both sides) happens together. Others here will certainly have more insight. Really nice find as there aren't many finds like yours. Congrats. EDIT: Found the info at Error-ref.com. I wouldn't be surprised if the dual misalignment ("bouncing" off the collar) contributed to the heavy MD on the reverse. I wouldn't be surprised if Mike D. would like this one! I see I mistook the shadows at the edge of the flip as part of the coin giving the reverse a false misaligned "effect". Are misaligned strikes this usually tilted as heavy as this one?
