When I looked into the scope, it showed me the neck section of this coin and there was something odd in the view! It reminded me of something, (in my age I can't remember of what!!), but I got curious and I checked out a couple of more of the same coin and all of them were different from this, as it can be seen in the pictures. Now I am wondering if this is a known variety, or it is some kind of deterioration or the coin was struck by a different die and it is normal? I attached the pictures of other coins for comparison as well! Thank you for your comments!

These pictures above show the "problem" coin!

That is another 2004P "Louisiana Purchase" nickel on the right!

These are the two coins above, with the control coin on the right!

These are three more different 2004P " Louisiana Purchase" coins. They are all similar to each other but completely different from the "open neck" coin!

They each look a different size, I'd say it's a variety.

Thank you GMS5, I cross my fingers, but I don't really have high hopes about that! The difference is maybe too small, hardly can be seen by the naked eye. But under a magnifier it definitely does show. The loop on this coin is open and facing forward, to the West, on the other coins they are closed and facing downward, to the south-west. I do not know if this is enough to be a variety, I would like to get more opinion, but looks like the other guys are away! (Maybe looking for another coin! )
