Hi. New here but have been lurking around for a while. I'm still learning coin error terminology and I thought this might be a Cud? Correct me if I'm wrong :)

That would be a die chip. A Cud emanates from the rim and will involve damage to the face and shank of a die. Die chips are relatively common but Cuds are rarer and definitely more desirable.
