Another fairly common date Peace dollar but with an interesting story. The lady that listed this on ebay called it a 1928, her pictures were a bit fuzzy and I won that auction with a bid of $80 and I thought I really scored. Well as it turned out it was a 23, I took close up pictures and let her know about the issue, and If I recall correctly, we settled on a $55 refund so I wound up keeping it for $25., maybe a few bucks more than I should have paid, but I was being nice nice to her because had I returned it she would have been out the shipping in both directions, and I really believed it was just an honest mistake on her part.

So any way, what do you think?

Not as clear as your normal pics. High AU at least. Better pics would help.

The entire coin is frosty and I can't seem to get very detailed pictures of it, but here's another set anyway.

Lots of marks, reverse seems worse than the obverse. I think the obverse will squeeze an MS-63 out of this one.
