Hi Everyone! Thanks for considering my coin!

I was planning on submitting this 1892-S Morgan for grading and was curious about the pitting/damage/strike in her face and hair... Would you think this would be returned with details, ungradable due to damage...not quite sure what the "pitting" was caused by. I appreciate your feedback and time. Regards, Chris

Looks PMD to me. Reverse? Needs to grade at least XF-40 to justify slabbing. http://www.numismedia.com/rarecoinp...proof=&plus=

XF-40 details, damaged. Probably has an interesting history looks like it got hit with some buckshot or something. Not worth slabbing as it will come back bagged and there's not much question on the grade or authenticity.

Thank you both very much. Would be interesting history, wouldn't it? Now I know what gun damage might look like (though I wish the person who had it just put it on a pillow in a box when they first got it!)

Thanks again.
