Hello.

Lots of lovely silver dollars posted here. Since it's a cold and snowy MAY morning, I photographed a few of my own favorites to share here for grading opinion(s). In chronological order, here is the second: 1880 S:

Another nice one. I think that hit near the eye is pretty bad and holds it back from 64 so I'm at 63+ for this one.

a VERY choice MS-63+. I could very easily see this in a 64 holder, even if it technically isn't.

Details of the right fields on both sides are obscured by the lighting. Straight-on pics would be helpful.

Hi ronP,
Mainly looking at your first set of pics, and wondered if that's some toning going on with the coin?

It does look PL and at the moment I would give it a solid
64 and if there's toning I would bump it depending on the colors etc!...to a 65?

Ok...hope to hear back!

villagekid, no real toning to speak of; the mirrored fields are reflecting the leds of a lamp in the angled photos.

Ok...still will go with a 64-64+
Worth grading IHMO...designation will be pretty darn close
and if you do get the PL? Well, that would be a Bounus!
Value around $150.00 according to PCGS Pop in that grade.
Good Luck On Your Coin!...

Obverse is pretty baggy, but it might make MS-63.

I think the chatter on the cheek is not as bad as it appears. its mostly rub and not scratched up. I think it might squeak by at MS64

The reverse eagle is just beautiful , nice strike and luster. Obverse has a few injuries but nothing major. I would give this a 62 obverse and a solid 66 reverse , overall MS64.
Love those eagles Have a great say and take care.
