Hi all, I just came across this 1981 GB coin which according to Krause should be KM 917, but it's loose in a grab bag of world coins I got on ebay with no case or information attached. Any way, just looking at it, to ID silver or circulation cu-ni? given where I found it, I'm fully expecting cu-ni, but figured I'd double check. Thanks!

Looks like the proof is silver, otherwise should be copper-nickel. Yours doesn't look proof to me.

Looks like cu-ni to me. The silver version was a Proof with a highly polished field and frosted relief.

Compare yours with the one pictured here:

Thanks for the input. I figured that would be the case.
