Took almost a week to make this. 28 2.5 mm silver rings per crystal (756), 27 3mm Swarovski Crystals, 36 2.5mm Silver link rings, 20 14K gold 9mm rings 10 Silver 9mm Rings and 12 4mm Silver rings. All rings hand wound and cut. I really like the contrast between the silver and gold and the different colors on the crystals. Now its finished I can go back to commission work :-)
it took almost two ounces of silver and 16.2 grams of 14k Gold. Time to make some more coin rings so I can replenish my scrap silver supply.

Silver and gold in combination always look fabulous together.

Have you considered using argentium instead of straight silver copper alloy?

The admixture of copper causes the silver to tarnish over time. Argentium never tarnishes.

Argentium is .925 silver, but where a small amount of germanium instead of copper is in the 0.075 component of the alloy.

Argentium stock costs about 15% more than standard sterling silver stock.

Nope. I only branched out into chain maille because I had a lot of scrap silver from cutting coins. I bought a rolling mill and made a propane furnace. So now I make my own silver wire. most batches turn out at about 95% silver since I mix bullion and coin silver, But its significantly cheaper than buying sterling wire. I don't like waste.
