This is an interesting coin, has a lot of what look like die chips on the obverse surface. These are raised and appear to be part of the coin. This was a roll find.

I am guessing that it is some kind of damage of some sort. PSD (Post Strike Damage) is my vote in my opinion.

Looks like it may have been struck with a rusty pitted die.

It is raised, appears to be copper, and seems to be part of the coin which leads me to believe it is not post-strike damage.
