1900 Gold Indian Head ? - Coin Community Forum

Same exact diam and thickness as normal coin but very shiney and weighing at an incredible 4.6 grams. It does not stick to magnet. Actually had written it off as just a cleaned coin until I heard about the rare 2.50 planchet on Indian heads. Nothing makes sense on this. My understanding is even they were only 4.1 grams. What other metal could weigh so much? Help. Report this Post to the Staff

Will try to email them to myself and open it up on home computer. My phone doesn't seem to work. The diameter is exact to all of my Indian heads. Everything on die is the same as well. But it's definitely shiney gold in color and weight is 4.6. I Will continue to try and post these pictures I've taken Report this Post to the Staff
