Unfortunately there is a punch at the Indian's head, which obscures the last digit of the date on the other side. However I have found that the arrows are in the eagles claw are different between 1787 & 1788. This coin is an 1788. I am glad I found information on this coin as I almost overlooked it. Didn't know what those white spots were in the second picture so I took another one in a different background. There could be an interesting story on that punch mark, but I will never know!
