I've sent in around two dozen Jefferson nickels over the prior two years. I'm at around 50% success rate in getting FS designation. The steps in your closeup photo appear nicer than some of what I sent in for grading. As for grade, the photos are a little blurry. One item to note is that grading services will only give FS on Mint State (MS) graded nickels. An AU grade will not get the FS designation.

Too much jpg compression on the photos to be able to see the coin surfaces. Use less compression, or if the file size limit is a problem, use smaller photos.

you are going to need better photos.
But, with what's given, I'll give you an EF-40, Not FS

to the CCF!

The answer to your question is NO .It's not worth certifying . To send in a 40-D Jeff the grade would have to be about MS-67 FS . The 40-D's are known for strong strikes and FS are not uncommon on that date and mint .

AU-55, nice circulated coin but not worth grading fees.
