2019 P Lincoln Shield Cent / LSC Die Crack

sheldius Pillar of the Community United States 1204 Posts	Posted 06/01/2020 11:07 pm There is a die crack from rim to around the O in ONE. Saw a video of a 2019 D that had almost the same crack so must be a common fail point. And a second near the P to the top of shield. Coin is BU. Any thoughts on how rare these new coin die cracks are? I'll put it in a 2 X 2 anyway. Report this Post to the Staff

merclover Bedrock of the Community United States 10635 Posts	Posted 06/02/2020 02:34 am This isn't the grading section, but I don't think this coin would grade as mint state (maybe it's just the photos). Die cracks are fairly common on Shield cents. Keep it maybe as an example, but I'd keep searching. AA very wise man here in our community (coop) once wrote, "Keep what you would buy."
