Have only been collecting coins for a month. Started out metal detecting and scored some pre-decimals plus a few hundred worth of modern coins. Then my Dad gave my some of the coins he collected over the years. Not UNC but still good condition coins he stuck away as they were released. There were some gaps that needed filling and well one thing led to another... and now I find myself with kilos of foreign coins sorting, dating etc. Don't know whether it's therapeutic or stress causing at times. So far I have managed to ID every coin except one which led me to this great community.
