Hello,

I am looking for a good reference book about Spanish colonial coins in the Americas. I already have a price guide. For example, I am looking for a book that gives a history about Spanish colonial coins and a description of the different Spanish mints in the Americas. Any help would be appreciated. Thank you!

Just purchased a couple myself:

How are the two books? Are they good? What kind of information do they both contain?

They cover all countries, mints and type coins with illustrations. They dont give much on the history but in my view provide a very good starting point
