This is such a lovely coin. Put an offer in on it. PCGS holder. I think they undergraded it a hair. Not quite PL but very striking cameo.

Reverse looks MS64 possibly MS65. Obverse might grade for 64 but the cheek damage might peg it down to 63. I'm gonna say they graded it MS63 but you may feel robbed of a point? Value $70-80 ?

Seller photos so not too much I can do to enhance them. I zoomed them in more, though.

Looks like a high end MS-64. Too many field marks on the obverse to pull a 65.

frog...just double click the photo it will blow up larger

I don't think what we are seeing on the cheek is too bad. looks like rub more than scratches. I think it makes MS64 but I'm guessing they slabbed it at 63 due to the rub on the high points of the obverse devices

I'll check when I have it in hand but the spots on the cheek and the fields look like toning, not rub.

I think, based on the PCGS grade, that it has unbroken luster. I think they kept it out of monster grades due to the one hit on the cheek.

Was hoping this would be 66 in hand but now that I have it looks like PCGS graded it fairly. Absolutely out of this world luster, and extremely close to PL, but a bit too banged up to make 66.

A couple of improved photos showing the cameo. Surfaces seem to have PL and even DMPL mirroring, which isn't quite evident in these photos and wasn't flagged by the grader for some reason.
