Weight is too low.
And the edge groove indicates alteration.

I think the coin is probably real, but it has been altered.

I'd argue real, but horribly corroded and altered. Not worth much more than melt.

Maybe the groove was for a bezel as a pendant.

former pendant maybe. Looks real to me. Corroded surface. I've also seen pitting like this ( not quite to this extreme) when something has been soldered. Run across a number of 1916 D Mercs and 32 D Washington's that have pitted surfaces from added mintmarks. Heating a coin to point of metal to flow will cause any number of surface issues.

Looks genuine to me but overly dipped. Or harshly cleaned if you will. While I agree with use as jewelry, heat would have caused a rainbow effect.

Hello guys, I made a Relative Density test on the coin... The result was 10,54, so its Silver... I will assume that's an authentic coin in bad condition with corrosion and edge damage... Thanks all for the opinions!
