It's a token, not a coin. There's no date and no issuing authority shown. It looks too well made and struck to be a Hacienda token and unfortunately they have used upper case lettering so we can't tell by the accent on the first E if it is Spanish or Portuguese. I would however guess that the lion is a reverse of the animal used on Spanish centimo coins towards the end of C19th.
