So when the coin is struck metal is pushed into the void leaving a raised mold of what ever shape. Metal is raised on your coin but the impression in between mean something cut across the surface and push it up, but like Sam says the pics are kinda blurry. Report this Post to the Staff

I can see both sides of the cut and not filled in. I was about to post a quarter that is similar but it's been cut as well. Thanks for the help! Report this Post to the Staff
