I love this nickel, but I know nothing about it. Everyone I need more info please! What's wrong with this nickel? Is it of any worth?

All I can say is it didn't leave the Mint looking like that. Exactly what was done to it later I can't say.

Welcome to the forum. Great question. Looks like damage of some kind, and somewhat sad since 2009 was a low mintage year.

It is quite a beautiful coin in person. And the feel of it is a little different, but feels good to hold. It looks to be a 2000 coin.
