Hi guys! I'm posting because I have a Roman coin that I don't know anything about. Can someone help me identify what it is. Coin is bronze with a right facing bust and on the reverse some type of building and SC around it. Thank you guys so much! Sorry if I did this wrong this is my first time.
Aria2344....Looks like Nero to me? Something like this...Diameter and weight would be helpful... Nero AE Sestertius. Struck ca 64 AD. NERO CLAVD CAESAR AVG GER P M TR P IMP P P, laureate head right with aegis / S-C, triumphal arch surmounted by quadriga, statue of Mars between columns.
Thanks ok Sestertius...Check out wildwinds... Not sure if this is an exact match but pretty close...RIC#143...But there might be signs of an Aegis which would make it around RIC#147...
