In September of 2018 I joined this site. This was one of the first coins I found and put on here.I cant go back that far on my history to compare pics. But in that amount of time this coin went downhill. It looked nothing like this. I stored it in a plastic container. Did I store it wrong? A spender now?

Not sure about what happened, but I can certainly say it IS NOT a spender. Still very much a keeper.

Just a ? not a blame LOL Did you clean the coin and not rinse it off good enough leaving Chemicals on said coin and then 2x2 it ?

Ive never cleaned any coin,,,, so no I didn't clean

Humid environment? Smoker? Did you insert it into a hard boiled egg and leave it there for several weeks?
My guess is that prior to you getting your hands on it, it was exposed to something in the environment. Still a keeper.

Try soaking it in Acetone for a couple days and see if it will clean it up a lil. No telling how it got this dark.
