Hi from mississipp.
My name is Rose.
I have recently started collecting and would appreciate any and all tips and advise you can give me.
I expecially love collecting pennys and washington / State Quarters.
I have been trying to figure this out about the doubling on coins.
How can I know for sure if I have doubling or if its just the light from camera this is so confusing to me.
Also is is terribly expensive to have a coin graded.
And how do I go about doing this.
I have found about 11 bicentennial quarters and a few half dollar bicentennial and 1 bicentennial silver dollar.
Do I have anything if so please let me know thanks and sorry for all the questions.

to CCF. A coin need to have a retail value after slabbing of $150 to justify all costs involved in having it slabbed. Post good photos and we can help you with possible doubling. Feel free to use our search box, upper left of page.

Typically, they like you to post specific questions in the forum, but to save you some time, I'll try to answer your question quickly. Bicentennial quarters and half dollars were produced in large quantities. Also, because the design was different, a lot of people saved them. Circulated examples are pretty much worth face value. Nice uncirculated examples can be a couple/few dollars. Using the advanced search options on ebay, you can see what certain things have actually sold for and get a ballpark idea of values.
