Can anyone explain why the date as calculated with Creounity is a year behind what is shown on Numista?
Frustrating when looking for a coin and you have the wrong date.

For one thing, Hejira years don't begin or end at the same time as AD years, so one year of either spans two years of the other. A conversion between them can only be plus or minus one year, unless you know the day and month.
