I have already posted a few times, but forgot to introduce myself. Here it goes.
I am 42 year old a coin collector from Ottawa, Canada who joined the forum a few weeks ago. I have only been collecting since 2017, but have learned a lot since then, and have picked up a few items that I enjoy.
My collecting focuses mainly on the following areas:
- Canadian Silver Dollars (the ones that circulated back in the day (1935-1967))
- Commemorative Canadian Silver Dollars (1971-Present)
-
Royal Canadian Mint PL/uncirculated sets (1954-Present)
- USA
Morgan dollars (1878-1904, 1921)
- USA
Peace dollars (1921-1935)
I've also considered collecting Canadian Silver Maple Leafs, USA Presidential, Innovation and
Ike dollars, and the Canadian 50 cent series, but my current interests are enough to keep me happy (and not deplete my bank account as I collect on a budget).
I am looking forward to learning from all of you; I have already learned lots about grading, varieties, etc just from reading the forums here.
All the best,
