Am a newbie myself and not yet ready to spash the cash on expensive coins until I know more. Can second the comment about checking the grading company. The Chinese counterfeiters are producing fake coins in fake slabs. Even stating the coin has been cleaned so price reduced. I don't buy any coins from China however I'm sure the Chinese fakes are now being sold outside China as well. Good luck!!

You are not buying much of anything then.

It can sneak by you. Many things "Made in the USA" are "Made in the USA with parts from China."
