Does this sound like a workable plan? Suggestions would be appreciated before I start this, the coins are not mine and I am extremely worried about ruining the coins.
Thanks,
Glen

Now here is an OOPPPPS. I think everyone here missed this statement. Those coins are not yours? Mine saying just who's they are?
My suggestion is to explain the methods mentioned here to whoever owns those and let them play around. Regardless of what you do, good or bad, if those coins are devalued due to your attempts, it's your fault. Of course this really depends on who's coins those are. If a relative, and you mess them up, not real good for the future. If a neighbor, may loose them as as freind. If a friend, same as a neighbor. In other words you may loose no matter what playing with other people's property.
I keep away from excessive helping others when the results may endanger our relationship. Help by possibly printing out this forums solutions. Then walk away.

Referring to someone else's coins, I wouold just say no! Even if you warn them, that if the coin is harmed in any manner, you will LOSE, even if they say, "No problem"! They will blame you!

Hey never noticed. Thanks.
And to just say this one more time, when you do things for others, regardless of who they are, and you in any way damage that item, you will always be blamed. You may or may not hear about it but many others will. Things like "I had a coin worth a lot of money, but xxxx ruined it for me"
No just not worth the problems.
Think of it as if you borrowed someone's car. Prior to returning it, you filled the gas tank, had the oil changed, washed and waxed. Now due to that cleaning, a large scratch shows up. Could have been there all the time but your cleaning now makes it stand out. Guess what the owner will say?
