1969 D? Roosevelt Dime Double Die Reverse

I believe this dime is supposed to be a D mint mark, but not 100% sure, so I took a picture of the "mint mark". Also, on the reverse in the word "America", I'm pretty sure I'm seeing doubling on each letter. I also have a bad headache and hoping it's not making me see the extra lines lol. Let me know what you think. Thanks.

to the Forum.

You are correct on the mintmark, it is a Denver mint,but coin was struck with a VLDS die and the letter D is very weakly struck.On the reverse you do have a doubling on devices and that is MD Machine Doubling.There are numerous references regarding this type doubling on this site, just click on the word Machine Doubling and it'll take you to the articles.

Definitely MD. Most easily seen on the upper half of the "C" where it's spread like butter from both sides, shrinking the middle.
MD tends to do this whereas doubled dies increases the thickness of the devices.
