This coin weighs 3.0 grams. Any help identifying the ruler and/or catalog number would be most appreciated.

I'm going to say Manuel I. You might want to consider investing in some reference material. Wayne Sayles put out and excellent series of books on all types of ancient coins. The books are not expensive and are a good way to start learning about ancient coins.

Also check out the section here marked Books, downloads and web sites, you will find the information there also.

Thank you echizento for the help. I actually have Wayne Sayles' Ancient Coin Collecting Volumes 1-6 and found them all very informative reads indeed. I was searching through Wildwinds and cannot seem to find a similar type to the coin I have pictured. I dont see a Manuel I type with the same emperor arm placement as seen in my coin. Perhaps this one will have to stay a mystery.

I went back for another look at this coin. My first impression was incorrect. The coin is not Manuel I, it is Isaac II (Angelus) 1185-1195, Sear# 2003.
