I have had this medal for years, I can't find info of exactly what I have here?

1652 medal, appears bronze, very heavy, has prince and princess on obverse, maybe says Philip and Joanna, on reverse, one word I can see is Edinburg.
Has the Tudor rose in middle of busts, on obverse, Royal !

Any help would be appreciated

Welcome to the forum.

I have been trying to do some research around the times of your medal, but I cannot make out enough detail. As John1 says better photos will be needed.

The tudor period ended in 1603, so this could be some kind of commemorative. Once we can see more hopefully it should bcome apparent.

regards
