Hello, my 7 YO son and I were using his metal detector "treasure hunting" and came across a coin broken in half. I can make out a buffalo on the back but when I showed him a picture to compare to I noticed the head on the front is left facing instead of right like the normal Buffalo nickel. The only lettering I can see is the word "one " on the front and a "18 or 19" not sure which. And the back I can see the word "nickel" that was also odd to me as the picture of the coins we looked at on the internet have the marking "five cents" on the back. Any help would be greatly appreciated as he is driving me insane to figure out what his "broken treasure" is. I will try posting pictures or could email to anyone willing to help, still trying to figure out my way around the forum. Thanks guys!
