Just wondering - I think I uploaded an image file or two yesterday, then got disconnected before I could put them in a post. Now I can't recall the filenames. Also, can I delete images I've uploaded but not actually used, to same space?

No that isn't possible, as of now. Latest file was uploaded on the 9th and the name is "2006294432_SWA 4836 MTT r restrike.jpg"

Sap, if you like to have full control over your images, I can suggest an alternative:

Upload your pics to another image hosting provider (I use photobucket, there are many others) then use the picture link [img] tags. You can edit your pictures as you wish.

If you decide to do this way, make sure that the image link is exactly the same after the changes. Or if the link is changed, edit your post accordingly.

This takes a little more time but seems to be a convenient alternative to realise your wish.

Wowzers, I just noticed that the powers-that-be have recently added the option to view your uploaded files - in "My Profile" and in "Insert an Image File". Thanks, guys!

Yup, you can now view and easily re-use your previously uploaded images.

There are 2 places to do this.

1. Now when you make a post and click on the Can-I-See-A-List-Of-My-Uploaded-Images? to upload a file, you will see a new button to view your previously uploaded images. This will list your images with thumbnails. You can click on them to add them to your post.

2. You can go into your profile in edit mode (so only you can get to it), on the bottom of the right column you will see a new button. This will show you image names with thumbnails that can be clicked to enlarge.

Enjoy.
