Oooo, I have had the Wiley Bugert book on my shopping list for a while but it is hard to find and expensive- this will be a nice reference. That book is probably the most comprehensive source of info on the State of Louisiana/CSA struck half dollars.

I actually received the email about a week or so ago and was just going through deleting old emails and thought maybe it would be something others here may enjoy reading so I posted it, I guess I should have done it as soon as I read the email the first time
