I have a 1917 Australian half penny in silver?
These were never made in silver as far as I am aware.
All details on the bust look perfect and its weight is 5.644 grams which is a perfect weight match to the one shilling coin which was silver.
Could this have been minted with a one shilling blank?
Or is it a really detailed fake?
If so why would you replicate a 1917 and in silver?
