attached are images of a 2008P LMC that I have had for quite some time. I am trying to get adequate images, that could be useful.

while trying to attribute this coin, I found no matches at coppercoins.com, and also no matches on wexlers site.

wexler has only 3 DDR's. DDR 001 says a new listing needed. the wavy step listing has been delisted. This DDR is much larger that Wexlers 002, and is does not match his 003. wexlers 004 is on the 7th column.

i believe this might be an unlisted column DDR, and might be a potential replacement for wexlers 001.

your opinions are appreciated - as always.

From your photos, it looks almost like a die chip. But I've never seen a die chip right there, and many, many doubled dies are right there. If it's not listed, then I'd certainly send it in to determine if it is a new variety as it's fairly strong. http://www.doubleddies.com has submission guidelines but also could go with varietyvista and follow their submission guidelines.

Good luck and hope it's a new one!
