I had ANACS grade/slab this one, thinking it was DDO per CherryPickers, but it came back noted 'clashed dies'. Also noted as 'scratched'. I'm far from an expert myself, just a multi-decades collector. So the question came to my mind... 'did ANACS omit the DDO because the other notations on the label left no room? I've no idea, and could locate nothing to tell me, how they prioritize attributes on their labels. I assume sometimes they can't note everything on limited space. Or, I admittedly may be wrong about it being DDO. Any insight or education will be appreciated. Thanks, Wayne p.s. have additional pics if needed.

Is this the one you think it is?

It's hard to tell from your closeup. Can you post more pics that show the doubling?

The ops' coin "might" be MD,but it does not match the one in the link. The PCGS one looks like Longacre doubling?

The PCGS 1866 you showed has the doubling that I felt that my coin shows. As depicted in my CherryPickers book. My clashed die indications are not as prominent, but the doubling seems similar. I don't know if I have any documented DDO's, so it's difficult to differentiate DDO from Machine Doubling. Thanks for responses. I will try to get better pics to add.

I see no clash in those photos. But the A is intriguing

Yes. The "A" seems to match the one pictured in CherryPickers Guide. I guess it could still be Machine Doubling...just coincidentally looks the same. Thanks for response.

Images aren't good, there is doubling on A3, but I can't tell if it is NDD or Longacre doubling. I DON'T believe it to be a DDO.
