Toonie W/Polar Bear On Both Sides, No Year Stamped

Pennyguy123 New Member Canada 5 Posts	Posted 08/14/2020 6:20 pm Found a toonie that is identical on both sides. The Polar bear is in the center and Canada 2 dollars is stamped on the outer ring. There is no queen, or year on the coin. Ever heard of this? Report this Post to the Staff

Pennyguy123 New Member Canada 5 Posts	Posted 08/14/2020 8:07 pm Just compared to a few other 1996 toonies, it is slightly thicker, and heavier. 1996s weigh in at 7g. on my cheap scale and this one is 9g. It sounds different when it is dropped on the wooden table. This one drops with a thud compared to a high pitch ting. Report this Post to the Staff
