Not Really A "New" Member, But....

Hey folks. Long back story here, but don't want to write the next War and Peace.

I'm not a "new" member -- I was here over 15 years ago when this forum was getting started. I drifted in and out for a few years, and in 2013 I was laid off from my fairly lucrative IT job, which mostly ended my active acquisitions.

I was actually doing a web search on a particular numismatic topic and a link to this page came up. To be honest, I'd mostly forgotten about it and a lot of other places when my collecting died down!

When I was last here, we lived in Texas. A couple of years ago we moved to the north Oregon coast, which those of you who know about the "Goonies" might recognize.

I do hope to resume some "lower end" collecting because it's in my blood -- just want to decide what to focus on. There just aren't a lot of good sources for collectors on that kind of budget around these days, especially in a relatively small town on the sea.
