Pics do not throw enough light to show surface details clearly, especially on portrait side.

It is indeed a business strike, but better lighting would give us a better handle on the specific grade. Based on the photos, I don't see wear on the laurel leaves, central hair curls, nor the eyebrow, so maybe MS-62 or MS-63? Again, better photos would help. I have one if these in MS-63 condition, but this one seems to have more bagmarks than mine.

The 1956 Silver Dollar is an interesting coin . The lowest Mintage of the
Young Head EIIR series it actually circulated in parts of Canada as
evidenced by the numerous examples found in VF to AU condition.
The coin is also an issue that is quite baggy and MS examples are
generally found in MS 60 to 62 , with MS63 being somewhat elusive
and MS64 or better are extremely difficult to acquire .
That said the 1956 issue in PL , single coin/ sets are remarkable for their
wonderful quality and deep Cameo strikes . ICCS highest graded PL
was a PL 68 I submitted in the late 1980s .
