John1 Moderator United States 56855 Posts	Posted 08/20/2020 12:48 pm USB scope needs to be as low as possible,5x-150x. I mostly use a point-n-shoot digital camera set to macro. Either way you will have a problem with lighting the coin. Check out the photo section of the forum and practise as much as you can. John1 Report this Post to the Staff

Be mindful of your lighting as well; diffused lighting works best. I agree, your coin appears to be fairly normal. to the CCF! Report this Post to the Staff
