This coin weighs 1.8g. I think its a Gupta Empire Drachm because of what looks like a garuda on the reverse. I was looking on Coin India's pages and think this may be Chandragupta II. What are your thoughts?

I think it's a Kumaragupta I, c. 415-455

But I'm no expert!
I do have a Kumaragupta and it does seem to fit with the OP coin...

Kumaragupta I seems right, full legend should be "Paramabh#257;gavata Maharajadhiraja Sri Kumaragupta Mahendraditya" not that I can read Br#257;hm#299;.

Looking at images from Michael Mitchiner book I wonder if it's not from The new Saurastran Kingdom, The Maitrakas of Valabhi Type 1306-1. The features are very similar.
