I am not a fan of many of the Commemorative sets that come out of the RCM, but once in awhile I see something I like. While sorting through the safes from my Dad I found these sets buried in back of a bottom shelf. Now these are nice sets!

Very nice find, congrats!

The silver coins look ordinary, but as full set, they are great.

And the gold ones, outstanding.
I am not a fun of the painted coins at all, but these vibrant colours over the gold surface look very nice.
Without mentioning the metal value, that must to be very high.

I agree! Wonderful sets!

I've always liked the design of the silver coins with their partial hologram - a novel look for a coin and one that, IMO, works well.

Congrats on finding the two sets! I hope you enjoy them and their sentimental value for many years to come.

I have slabbed sets of the 15 silver and 6 of the 9 gold. Missing the 2009 gold.
