Thank you for info, MoneyPenney
The UHR looks like nicely done, I am not sure, if I like design, but the coin is good.
Year back, I did sell my UHR Lynx, it was 2/3 of issue. But now the silver is high and after pandemic, the interest is definitively in the place.

Thanks for this @moneyPenney I just received the brochure in the mail and there are a few additional items in that: 1) $10 Inuk (1/20oz 99.99 gold) Mintage 4,000 $249.95 (announced earlier in August) Preannouncement of the next two circulating series to be available in special wrap rolls and keepsake cards to add to the Bill Reid set issued in August. September 2 - End of World War 2 Colourized and non-colourized $2 coins TBD - 75th Anniversary of Signing of the UN Charter Colourized and non-colourized $1 coins The SS Keewatin is interesting in that the obverse shows the ship's stern with the monarch's head in a Cameo like insert at the very bottom. It is an interesting idea that blends between coin and medal. Ultimately the coin doesn't fit my collection's focus and isn't sufficiently interesting to me to buy as a standalone but I am curious to see if the RCM goes further in this direction.

Yes, thanks MoneyPenney for posting the release info. @vonigohcr: The design of the SS Keewatin coin also caught my eye. Is this the first time the RCM has reduced the size of the Queen's portrait to a small cameo on the obverse so it can meet legal statutes while maximizing the coin's design space? Other mints have been doing this for years - I own one such coin from the Dutch Mint that dates to 2009 - and I have seen it done on many coins from Pacific Ocean island nations. This coin could very well signal a change in methodology for the RCM - it will be interesting to see how they progress.

Was curious to see on ebay the : - Pure Silver 5 coin Maple Leaf Fractional Set - Our Arboreal Emblem - The Maple Tree - $249.95 Maple Tree could be good idea for fractional set. But all it has "pulsating" maple leaf. Double dated. Sorry RCM, the set is very boring. Doesn't reflect commemorative event / symbol. It could be reduced budget, or there is some deep idea behind, which I didn't understand.

Meh, the coin would look much better with the standard obverse. It makes the coin look looks like some cheap trinket...

I think we just used to see the standard layout, but the one on this coin, involves usual art type, no "novelties". Just want to say, that IMO, it not so bad :) What I would like to see - the King Edward on this cameo of SS Keewatin coin.

Believed by some members, that the coin: Pure Silver EHR 1 oz coin - Proud Bald Eagle - $139.95Could be the "next thing" from RCM. It's phenomenal sellout could be the evidence. I've tried, and wasn't able to load the RCM page, but the coin is already available for general public via HK dealer.Price: USD 116.51 + shipping UPDATE:The RCM page has been loaded. And as was expected, the most popular releases are sold out: Hummingbird 5oz coin SS Keewatin Bald Eagle

Quote: Meh, the coin would look much better with the standard obverse. I agree with Silveroid and suggest it's a case of "change" vs. a design deficiency. Collectors in Canada have gotten use to a certain obverse/reverse format for their coins and this one is different. Quote: It makes the coin look looks like some cheap trinket... In comparison to the many other RCM gimmick coins? (i.e., glued on insects, glued on candy canes, glow-in-the-dark designs, carousels on coins, "sculptural" coins, puzzle coins, etc.) The RCM has definitely produced its share of trinkets over the years, IMO.

Getting ready for The Coin Show, the new Victory $2 are up on TSC. Also noticed the 2020 1/10-Ounce 25-Cent Pure Gold Coin: Tribute to Alex Colville available as a single coin.

Could you please post URL to TSC? When I am searching the "The Shopping Channel", the page opens with "New arrivals" banner showing 2007 Silver Dollar. And actually no coins appear under any of the category.

Thank you, for info, rjlavoieIt seems to be the problem with my Internet provider or maybe computer - I still see no coins, just the page with all menus - sub-menues I think, RCM will post these coin tomorrow, on Sept 2-nd. In addition to the mintage, the price of CAD 99 per roll is also doesn't look like correct.

RCM now have the $2 Victory coins listed. Pricing is $79.99 for the colour roll. It looks like if you want the non-colour roll, you have to get it as a set with a colour version roll. I don't see the non-colour roll available on it's own. For the 2 roll set, mintage is showing 5000 of each roll in this collection. There is also the Keepsake Card for $22.95 with a mintage of 100,000. Anyone finding these in circulation or at a bank this morning?

Quote: Anyone finding these in circulation or at a bank this morning? For a past 2 years I found in circulation only 2017 Loonie (with transportation) and D-Day coloured Toonie (with green helmet) Just to say, there is a very little hope for circulation. The frequently changing tellers in my bank branch hardly understand, what do I want, when I asking sometimes about some special roll (not all of them, though. The guys or ladies with longer experience are able to supply answer that they "do not have any")
