I believe this looks like a misaligned die. This is the second I have found recently. Is there a rule of thumb on when to keep vs. spend? Thanks.

Thanks. In kind of thought that would be the case.

It does look like a misaligned die, where some of IN and the bust is cut off. You can keep this one until you find a better example. Neat find.

That is, of course, up to the individual to decide but for me, I would want to see more of the lettering/design truncated...something that doesn't require magnification to notice.

Thanks all - I like the idea of keeping till I find a better example. The noticeable without any magnification is also a good rule of thumb.

Thanks

If you are going to spend it, make sure there is no doubling first.
