Greetings,
At first glance I figured this irregular raised line on and near Washington's chin was simply a small die crack, which it may be. After moving the coin around in the light a bit, I noticed that the oval area partially enclosed by the line appears to be slightly depressed, however. This isn't something I've seen before, so I was hoping to get some more knowledgeable thoughts on what happened here. Thanks in advance!

Could be a minor struck through debris error.

That makes sense. The coin may have been struck through something small, but hard enough to cause the small crack in the die.

Thanks for the replies!
