Ok I have this coin and was looking at one like it on e-bay that said it's a spanish copper coin.I thought these are silver? Or is it sliver plated copper. I dont know much about these. Any help would be cool. Thanks Oh and anyone that could look up a price on it also.
Yep. It's silver, .810 fine, .1352 ounces. According to my rather old Krause (2004 edition), the 6-pointed star indicates this one is Madrid mint (other mints have different numbers of points). Listed in Krause as KM# 628.2, with 1864 the scarcest of the five dates of issue. CV $21 in Fine.
