Are you unhappy with the grade assigned? (The coin appears to be in a grading service holder.)

It's hard for me to tell for sure from the images provided, but I think I see a change of color on the coin's obverse high points - this usually indicates metal loss and a departure from a mint state grade. I see the color change I am referencing on Bradford's cheek, the brim of his hat, the top of his hat and the top corner of the bible he is holding (among other spots). Are these color shifts present/real when the coin is viewed in hand?

Thanks for the updated images. I'm guessing they are more representative of what the coin actually looks like.

I think the coin was fairly graded by ANACS. I still see some areas of rub and the better lighting also reveals a number of light scratches in the fields.

Overall, a nice example of a coin that commemorates an historically significant event in US history.

Thanks for sharing!

Not another "1921-D" Pilgrim. None were struck at Denver. The "D" the is designer initial For Cyrus E. Dallin (1861-1944).
