It gives me GREAT pleasure to announce that all the donated coins have now arrived and the set is being sealed in at this very moment. My goal, at this time, is to mail the set Monday morning to Susan and Bobby for the first drawing. Nothing but thanks to everyone involved in this project! I am looking forward to counting the miles we can put on this set. I truly hope everyone will make an effort to keep this set moving every 3 weeks and it can enjoy a new home at least once a month. Progress reports should be something to look forward to in the months and years ahead! Thanks for the opportunity to be a part of this endeavor! T-minus two days and counting!

T-Minus 20 hours and counting! The first leg of the journey will be from Indiana to New Jersey (644 miles) and then.....(only the future knows)
Everyone get your official tracking pads out and write down 644 miles!!! After the drawing Susan will be logging some more miles as our journey will begin in a few more hours!

I, being a male of the species, could not locate an appropriate card but did include a sheet with some info and a place to sign. Feel free to add a card and PLEASE put my name down on that card as I have NO idea if or when I will ever see that set again!

It is OFFICIAL! The PERPETUAL GIVE-A-WAY SET was launched at 9:07 a.m. this morning (Feb 13, 2006) and is on its way to MOM in New Jersey by priority mail. The journey has begun!
Susan I would suggest a "sticky" so we can keep track of where the coin set is currently residing at any given time and also to track the accummulated mileage? In 3 days the first 644 miles will be history and it will be resting with Susan and Bobby until the drawing is made! This should be fun!
As I posted in the other thread, "It started as a suggestion, turned into a dream of collectors from all over the world and now, IT is reality!" Truly a story that should be told!

We should hear from Susan within a couple of days letting us know the first 644 miles are complete and the set will be ready for the FIRST official drawing! Who is going to be the first official host of this outstanding undertaking? Can't hardly wait to see where the set is going next!
